BOTTLES FOR Plant Watering
Inverted Wine Bottles
Most plants like consistent levels of moisture. The hand painted bottle, in conjunction with a plant nanny, will allow this to happen.
Water from the bottle seeps slowly through the plant nanny providing consistent moisture at the root level.
A bottle will generally last a week to 10 days, although two weeks is not unheard of!

Small Bottles
The bottles are smaller and decorated with enamel paint and can also be used as a bud vase.
Small bottles work best with a Small Plant Nanny.

- The Plant Nanny is a porous, terra cotta sleeve
- The nanny is inserted into the plant as far as possible near the roots.
- Fill the bottle with water.
- Cover the bottle opening with your fingers and turn the bottle upside down.
- Hold over the plant nanny, remove your fingers and let the bottle settle into the nanny.
- Remove and refill the bottle when empty. The timing of this will vary by pot size, humidity, plant needs, etc.

A smaller plant nanny is now available for use in smaller pots (6" - 8").
Each small nanny includes an adaptor that can work with a plastic bottle.
This smaller nanny works just like the larger version, and the bottle will last about 4-5 days depending on your plant and pot size.
